Winter tires are specially designed for winter driving surfaces

Generally speaking, it is best to replace winter tires below 7 ℃, regardless of the road surface. The reason is that ordinary summer tires harden their rubber at low temperatures, greatly reducing their grip and braking performance, which cannot guarantee driving safety. Winter tires can enhance their grip performance and ensure winter driving safety through special tread rubber and pattern design.

Tip: When replacing tires, remember to replace all four tires at the same time, as partial replacement can cause uneven adhesion between the four wheels and the ground during use, which can pose potential safety hazards. Car owners often overlook that low temperatures can have an impact on tire pressure during winter. According to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction, as the temperature decreases, the tire pressure value will also decrease. When driving on highways with good open circuit conditions, it is advisable to increase the tire pressure appropriately to compensate for the problem of excessive contact area between the tire and the ground, which can lead to excessive wear and noise. However, excessive inflation can also cause a decrease in tire grip, affecting the comfort of handling. So on snow or ice, in order to increase tire adhesion, tire pressure can be appropriately reduced.
